M11 Enterprise Forum
For the NHS to cope with infectious diseases both seasonal peaks and long term resistance, surveillance of outbreaks and trends by Public Health England and the much documented need for the development of new antibiotics to combat resistance by the Biopharma industry makes infection a major challenge for those charged with providing world class healthcare, public protection and new medicine discovery.
Developments in the M11 corridor will fortunately result in co-locating excellence in all the above areas. This seminar will have three leading groups presenting on their own activities in order to stimulate discussion on how best this excellence can be integrated for better healthcare outcomes.

The announcements of Public Health England relocation, Enterprise Zones to enable growth and further inward investment and a regional talent pool borne out of the current and past strengths in medical technology, communications technology and Pharmaceuticals creates a perfect storm to meet future healthcare needs
Ideally placed, connecting the powerhouse clusters of Cambridge and London, good public and private transport links with potential for affordable and appropriate facilities to be expanded, the advantages the corridor offers our sector are manifold.
Re-branding of the M11 Med Tech Forum to this, M11 Health Enterprise Forum reflects the evolving local economy to be broader and more inclusive across the health sector, bringing innovators, investors, companies and healthcare providers together to capture the potential health and wealth benefits available.
