Third Inquiry session of LSCC Growth Commission

This inquiry event aims to debate the strengths and weaknesses of the London-Stansted-Cambridge Corridor as a competitive location for business and talent.

The most successful ideas economies combine high levels of entrepreneurial and innovation capabilities and activities with high quality places to live and work. How do we ensure high quality business locations with sufficient capacity with expansion and also ensure quality of place and environment?

Via the presentations and debate, we will be able to:

  • Understand the main factors which have influenced recent location decisions
  • What location factors, assets or characteristics, were they improved, would drastically improve the business and operating environment in the Corridor
  • Get a clear idea of current plans and approaches, including collaborations with other areas
  • Discuss what new powers or resources would help to deliver quality of place and competitive locations
  • Discuss where and how collaboration is essential to future success
