Free Training on green issues
For businesses wanting to reduce carbon emissions and increase profitability help is at hand!
Harlow Council, in partnership with its neighbouring Councils in Epping Forest and Uttlesford, has won funding to provide training for businesses in West Essex.
Delivered by Norfolk and Waveney Enterprise Services (NWES), who are based at the Harlow Enterprise Hub on Edinburgh Way, Harlow, the free sessions will equip businesses to understand where their carbon emissions come from and how they can both save money and increase profitability through reducing this.
The 2010/11 West Essex Employer and Business survey businesses 82.6% of respondents stated that reducing energy costs was either important or very important to their business activities. When asked about reducing carbon emissions 47.9% rated this as highly important, demonstrating an appetite for more opportunity to learn about carbon reduction.
The event will start on: Wed 1 Feb 2012 - 10:00am
From 10:00am ending at 1:00pm
Venue: Harlow Enterprise Hub
