We are a Help Point for Playlists for Life - a music and dementia charity. Over two decades of scientific research has shown that listening to a personal playlist can improve the lives of those living with dementia. We Are Digital are offering basic digital skills training, which includes help with devices and useful webinars.  They still have more than 900 Lenovo WiFi-enabled tablets to give away to qualifying learners (recently unemployed people living in a SELEP postcode - who have old equipment or don’t have their own equipment/computer to access the Internet).  Visit their website to find out more and to register....

Funding
If you are offering opportunities for people to be physically active then Active Essex are inviting applications of up to £3,000 to the 'Find Your Active Fund'. It is expected that most projects can start quickly and will require money for items such as coaches, instructors, venue hire, equipment and promotion.  Further information and the application form are available here.  Decisions on applications will be made within two weeks of applying.
For organisations offering activities for children and young people, there is an opportunity to apply for funding to help with remobilisation costs resulting from the pandemic. ECVYS are inviting applications of up to £500. For the application form, and to find out more, visit their website here.
Harlow College Health and Wellbeing Fair

Community Connections Essex is a Building Better Opportunities project, which is funded by the European Social Fund and The National Lottery Community Fund. ECC Early Years Research
Essex County Council is partnering up with Revealing Reality to do some research about families with young children (aged 0-5) in Essex.  They are looking for parents with children who are between the ages of 0-5 as well as expectant parents.  If eligible they would like to spend some time with you, to see what life is like for you and your family.  If you are taken through to the research phase you’ll also be given £50 as a thank you for participating!  See below for more info...
