The first Harlow Showcase is TOMORROW (11-4).

If you are not exhibiting, come and see over 60 local businesses in Market Square, East Gate and Broad Walk.

Arrow and iRepairs will be in the Harvey Centre and Parndon Mill are putting on an Art Exhibition in the Library.

Wellbeing in the Workplace

The Be Well, Work Well Stay Well delivery group of the Health and Wellbeing Partnership Board is organising Work Well in Harlow to promote positive health and wellbeing in the workplace to employers and employees in Harlow.

Be Well Work Well Stay Well invite you to a special lunch seminar showcasing the breadth of FREE activities and services available to businesses operating in Harlow to help keep your workforce happy, healthy, and fit. Help us to create a healthier Harlow and develop a happier workplace.

The event is being held on Friday 28 June at Harlow Town Football Club from 12 noon until 2 pm.  It is free to attend and includes lunch and networking opportunities. 

Speakers at the event will include:

Department for Work and Pensions: Is your workplace Disability Confident?

Active Essex: The importance of physical activity and it’s role within the workplace

Mind in West Essex: Time to Change, removing the stigma of Mental Health

Provide CIC: Essex Lifestyle Service and Working Well, an employee led approach to workplace health and wellbeing

Employ-Ability: support for employees experiencing mental health problems.

Rainbow Services: Employee Volunteering

Case studies from HTS (Property & Environment) Ltd, Pemberley Academy and Bidfood.

Harlow Council: The event will be opened by the Portfolio Holder for Community Wellbeing and closed by the General Manager.
