Time to Change - raising awareness of Mental Heath in the workplace

Time to Change is a nation wide government backed movement, its aim is to raise awareness and reduce the stigma around mental health.

With sponsorship from Harlow Council businesses in the Harlow area are invited to take part in this local initiative.

With over 1000 businesses signed up already in England it is a brilliant opportunity to make the most of this free scheme and create a healthier workplace.

All that is involved is a small amount of time put aside to create an action plan.  This will be done with the help of a Time to Change project worker who will come to your address and assist you.

When the action plan is complete theywill ask you sign a pledge which will show your staff your commitment to mental health awareness in the work place.

The scheme has had brilliant result with improvement in productivity, a difference in staff wellbeing and a lower absence rate.

Mind in West Essex would love to have a variety of local businesses involved and will be arranging an event for the pledge signing and hoping to have press involvement as well as social media coverage.
